FAQ

Choosing Tape for an Industrial Application

Which application details are needed for product selection?

Share the application part, substrate, load direction, surface condition, service temperature, moisture or UV exposure and production format.

Can one tape construction work across different parts?

Sometimes, but adhesive and carrier selection should follow the most demanding substrate and environment. Samples should be tested on each critical part.

Which substrates can be evaluated?

Common substrates include painted metal, aluminum, glass, plastics, foam, fabric and coated surfaces. Low-surface-energy plastics may require a specific grade or treatment.

Can recommended products be supplied as die-cut parts?

Yes. Slit rolls, rewound rolls, spools and die-cut parts can be discussed according to drawing, sample and assembly requirements.
